Nourish Lives Today

At Caring Hand, we understand that addressing hunger requires a collective effort. In January of 2022, Caring Hand began the initiative – ‘The Lunch Bunch’, to help those unfortunate people in our local communities who are homeless.

We actively collaborate with local partners to foster community support and tackle the issues at its roots. Together, we’re not just providing meals; we are building a network of compassion and assistance.

We began our efforts with 150 sandwiches for one organization.  Now, our areas of service include Santa Monica, San Fernando Valley, Ventura County.  Currently, we are proud to continue our mission by serving between 800 to 1000 meals per month. Each meal represents more than sustenance; it signifies a step towards positive change and renewed hope.

Please join us in making a difference, one meal at a time. Together, we can create a more
compassionate world and brighter future for those experiencing homelessness in our communities.

Project Gary

Project Gary began in March of 2022 when Gary decided to spend his time helping those less fortunate or down on their luck. Starting by supporting the homeless population of Downtown Los Angeles with the Fred Jordan Mission, Project Gary is now focused on the San Fernando Valley through a partnership with Hope Rescue Mission and Caring Hands for Children.  Project Gary provides haircuts, cookout events, Fourth of July BBQ, Thanksgiving Dinner, shoes and backpacks to multiple locations of Hope Rescue Mission’s homeless shelters.
